Korean textile machinery cos to host buyer-seller meet in Coimbatore

TEXTILE entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to interface with the textile machinery manufacturing companies of Korea as the Korean Trade Centre would be hosting a buyer-seller meet here on December 1.

The one-day meet would give an exposure to potential Indian buyers on Korean textile machinery range covering weaving, knitting and textile processing and finishing segments as also the machinery for the non-woven segment. The meet will focus on the machinery range available from18 Korean textile machinery companies.

In addition to machinery, Korean made fabric (non-cotton) samples would also be exhibited to facilitate the Indian garment companies keen on outsourcing.

The meet, which is held as part of the Textiles Committee's cluster development initiative, is being organised by the Korean Trade Centre in association with the Textiles Committee, Government of India, South India Hosiery Manufacturers Association, Tirupur and Coimbatore district small industries association and the Tirupur-based event management company, Hi-Tech International.
