Our Bureau

Pune , Nov. 29

THE Pune-based Guardian Holidays is offering a smart-couple offer wherein the first customer travels fully paid while the companion gets 50 per cent off on the cost.

"This means the companion pays just half the cost and accounts for discounts ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 85,000," said Mr Sandeep Joshi, Managing Director, Guardian Holidays.

The offer is not restricted to Europe but can be also be availed of for Australia-New Zealand, Scandinavia-Russia and South East Asia tours.

This offer is open only for the first 300 pairs registering with Guardian, he said.

He said it has launched the Europe 2006 plans with tours all round the year ranging from 10 days to 17 days.

The highlight is the combination of Europe with Greece.

Mr Sandeep said a visit to Europe would cost about Rs 1 lakh for a single person and if combined with Greece the rate would be Rs 1.75 lakh.

Mr Sandeep said they are also planning to begin adventure tourism club which would be operational by January 2006 and people could avail themselves of the tours by April 2006. The club is targeting the young travellers, back packers, hitch hikers and also IT professionals.

These tours would look at locations such as wild life and nature trails, he said.

Milind Gunaji, model, actor and an avid traveller, has been roped in by Guardian Holidays as brand ambassador, he added.
