Hyderabad , Nov. 30

AIR Arabia LLC, owned by the Sharjah Government, is planning to increase the frequency of flights to Nagpur to five from three beginning December 15, besides hoping to launch its services to at least two South Indian destinations.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Mr Rohit Ramachandran, Air Arabia's Country Manager, said the response to its Nagpur flights was tremendous, with a load factor of over 90 per cent.

"First we would like to increase the frequency to five flights a week. If need be, we will make it daily service in the next few months," he said.

Air Arabia, which has a fleet of six A320, was also looking at more destinations to start its operations. "We await permissions to launch our services in cities like New Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad," he said.
