Northgate Tech net, revenues rise

NORTHGATE Technologies Ltd has recorded a total income of Rs 13.57 crore and a net profit of Rs 4.87 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2005 as against Rs 9.53 crore and Rs 1.02 crore respectively for the corresponding quarter last year.

Last fiscal ended March 31, 2005, the company recorded a total income of Rs 51.88 crore and a net profit of Rs 7.20 crore. Earlier this year, the company changed its name from Northgate BPO Services Ltd to Northgate Technologies Ltd, while restructuring operations.

During the quarter, the company allotted 15,78,250 shares of Rs 10 each at Rs 276 each, to foreign institutional investors.
