Workers are busy giving a facelift to the landmark heritage architecture of Kolkata, the Victoria Memorial. The nearly 100-year-old building is facing the threat of pollution in the densely populated metropolis. The Union Government and local authority of the heritage monument have initiated several steps to protect it from the polluted environment.
