Telsima's R&D Vice-President

TELSIMA Communications, a provider of wireless access products on Friday announced the appointment of Mr Raj Sharma as Vice-President - R&D and Operations for the Indian Subcontinent.

This Indian subsidiary of the California-based Telsima Inc is headed by Mr Vinod Dham, popularly known as the `Father of Pentium' for his work at Intel. Mr Sharma has over 25 years of experience in networking and communications products. He has worked at Luminous Networks, 3Com, Sun, National Semiconductor, and Apple Computers.

He has also associated with several emerging technologies and protocols including Ethernet, Control net, ATM, MLPPP, SSL, SS7, DOCSIS, RPR, Metro Ethernet, SDH and MPLS.
