Finance Ministry awaits proposals from IWT sector

THE Union Finance Ministry, which has set aside Rs 1,500 crore for funding infrastructure projects, is yet to receive a single proposal from the inland water transport (IWT) sector this fiscal. This was revealed recently in Kolkata at an interactive session on how to promote IWT.
