Curbing border infiltration

Workers are busy at fence work on the Tripura-Bangladesh border in South Tripura district. The barbed wire fencing on the 856-km long Tripura-Bangaldesh border will be completed soon. This will help control infiltration and smuggling. But many farmers living in the border areas feel that this may dampen their business, as the State does not have enough scope to market its produce.
