Tuticorin port grievances redress machinery

CHENNAI: The Tuticorin Port Trust will strengthen its public grievances redress machinery following instructions from the Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension.

The port trust's secretary has been appointed as Director for Redressal of Public Grievances, and will also function as a nodal officer for the Citizens Charter in the port trust, according to a press release.
