National Insurance bags prize

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kochi Regional Office of National Insurance Company has bagged the first position for the second consecutive year among public sector undertakings in the southwest region for implementing the official language policy.

The southwest region comprises the States of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and the Union Territory of Lakshadweep, said Mr M. P. Ramkumar, Senior Divisional Manager, National Insurance Company, Thiruvananthapuram.

The Governor, Mr R.L. Bhatia, gave away the Rajabhasha shield and merit certificate to Mr Gopi Panikkar, Deputy Manager, National Insurance Company, Kochi Regional Office.
