NMDC Director dead

HYDERABAD: Dr H.R. Subramanya, Director (Finance), National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) died early Tuesday. He was 55 and is survived by wife, a son and daughter.

According to an NMDC release, he joined the company Board in January 2004. He was Executive Director (Finance), Bharat Earth Movers Ltd, Bangalore, before joining NMDC. Dr Subramanya was also President of the Institution of Costs & Works Accounts of India for the year 2004-05.
