The Hindu Business Line : Nagarjuna Construction bags National Games contract

NAGARJUNA Construction Company Ltd has announced that it has bagged the `National Games Housing Complex Project' at Ranchi from the Government of Jharkand for the National Games in 2007.

The project is worth around Rs 276 crore, the company said in a press release here on Monday.

As per the letter of intent, the company has to develop, design, finance and construct 1,800 dwelling units over 27 months. Of these, 1,200 have to be completed within 16 months for providing accommodation to the athletes. After the games, the company is free to sell the dwelling units in the open market, the release said.
