Oracle to market i-flex tool

Our Bureau

BANGALORE: Oracle has announced it will resell i-flex's Reveleus Basel II solution. This is expected to enhance Oracle's enterprise risk management and compliance platforms for the financial services sector.

According to the terms of the agreement, Oracle will resell and jointly market the Reveleus Basel II. It allows organisations to address regulatory standards such as Basel II, which are now being adopted by financial institutions worldwide. Mr Andrea Klein, Vice-President for Financial Services Industry Strategy and Marketing, Oracle, said in the release that "Incorporating Reveleus Basel II Solution into the Oracle solutions platform will extend Oracle's ability to deliver on the industry's need for compliance and risk management across the enterprise, rather than just within specific business units."

This announcement is on the lines of the company's strategy to align i-flex's finance software expertise with Oracle's services.
