Minor fire at CTS site

CHENNAI: A fire broke out this afternoon at Cognizant Technology Solutions' Siruseri construction site. "It was a minor fire and was put out in less than two hours. People are safe," according to a company official.

There was no major damage to the building, she said.

Cognizant is constructing a techno-complex in Siruseri on the Old Mahabalipuram Road (IT corridor). Phase one of the facility will have a development centre spread over two lakh sq ft of built-up space and accommodate 2,000 professionals.
