IA's name change

The overnight renaming of Indian Airlines as Indian is hasty and the new name doesn't convey anything. Before having made the change, the matter should have been put to the public and suggestions invited from all sections of people.

The name Indian is abstract. Every citizen of India is Indian and how does one relate the name to airline carrier. Any change should be for better and not for worse, to say the least.
