Hardware Marketing - New Products & Services Flybook laptops launched Our Bureau
KOLKATA: Holbe Dialogue Europe s.p.a. of Italy, a group engaged in the business of real estate, household items and IT products, has launched the Flybook portable notebook computer in India. Stated to be the "smallest tablet PC in the world", the Flybook weighs 1.2 kg and comes with a touch screen of 8.9-inches. It has an integrated GPRS phone as well. It has an in-built Wi-Fi device and is available in seven colours - red, yellow, orange, blue, black silver and white. Powered by a Transmeta processor, the Flybook has a 120 GB hard drive and a 512 MB memory. It would be available in the Indian market for Rs 1.10 lakh. Mr Kabir Ahmed, Managing Director (SAARC Region) of Holbe Dialogue, told newspersons here that the Flybook had been designed in Italy "for professional users and for the lifestyle segment.
