SBT branches feted

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The annual performance awards for various branches of the State Bank of Travancore (SBT) were given away at a function here on Monday.

An SBT spokesman said here that the bank has a practice of recognising top performing branches in the metro, urban, semi-urban, rural and specialised categories. The Managing Director, Mr Om Bhatt, handed over awards feted the Bangalore City, Indore, IFB-Bangalore, Kandalloor and Pattom branches for being selected into the `MD's Club.'

The Chief General Manager, Mr Pradeep Sankar, gave away the awards to the 18 branches selected into the `CGM's Club'.
