Chennai , Dec. 15

PARRY Travels, part of the Rs 6,200-crore Murugappa group, has launched what it claims is a unique facility - Dial-a-Holiday.

The service aims to make the holiday more relaxing by eliminating the stress from getting the documentation ready, booking the tickets and making reservations, says Mr Kaushik Banerjee, Head, Parry Travels. The travel firm will send its consultant to the customer's home to take care of all this and also help with visas and passports, he told Business Line.

Dial-a-Holiday, launched on December 1, is now available for three domestic packages that start at Rs 10,000 and four international packages that start at Rs 20,000. There is no service charge for this facility, Mr Banerjee said. The packages are on offer till the end of February 2006.

Parry Travels is a division of Parry Engineering and Exports. It has been in business for the last 50 years. Besides the Murugappa group, it services other corporates as well as walk-in customers.
