JWT reshuffles top-level posts

JWT is in for a major top-level organisation restructure. Not only has the agency recruited new people, it has also reshuffled its existing senior executives.

Mr Colvyn Harris, CEO, JWT, told Business Line that the restructuring is a move towards achieving the best creative standards and also getting the best of client servicing and account management talent in place.

"We already have Mr Bruce Matchett, as our new Chief Creative Officer (formerly Chief Creative Officer, Singleton Ogilvy & Mather, for Australia and New Zealand); Mr Agnello Dias (who was formerly with Leo Burnett) as Vice-President and Executive Creative Director and the most recent recruitment that has taken place is that of Mr Mahendra Bhagat (National Creative Director, SSC&B), as Vice-President and Senior Creative Director, JWT, Mumbai."

The agency has also hired Mr Hemant Mishra, President (West), Mudra Communications, who would be the Senior Vice-President taking care of the Pepsi business.

The senior level changes within the agency include that of Ms Atika Chodhury, Ms Mythili Chandrasekhar and Ms Hamsini Shivakumar, who have become Vice-President and Executive Planning Director of the Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai branches respectively.

Similarly, Mr U. Jayraj Rau, of JWT Chennai and Mr Mukul Kansal of JWT Delhi, have been elevated to the position of Vice-President and General Manager, and would be taking care of business development.

Mr M.S. Balaji, who is currently GM of the agency's Kolkata operations, would be heading the southern operations of Contract, and Ms Raji Ramaswamy, from the Mumbai office, would be taking charge of the Kolkata operations as Vice-President.
