TCS inks pact with Novo Nordisk

TCS has entered into an engagement with Novo Nordisk, a player in the field of diabetic care, for the implementation of an offshore clinical operations service.

TCS will provide a suite of data management services, which include designing, capturing, and coding of trial data gathered from clinical trials that are run by Novo Nordisk across the world, out of its modern BPO facility in Mumbai, said a company release.

TCS has domain expertise as well as a pool of skilled professions in the field of pharmaceuticals, it added.

Novo Nordisk is actively working on its outsourcing strategy and already has a number of agreements in place in India.

According to TCS, Novo Nordisk went through a selection process that involved four top providers in this sector before it was chosen.
