Sports Cricnizant trophy goes to Chennai Our Bureau
HYDERABAD: The Chennai team of Cognizant has won the Cricnizant trophy, defeating its Hyderabad counterpart at the final of Cognizant Technology Solutions' annual cricketing competition. The match, held here on Sunday at the RRC Grounds, was attended by top officials of the company. Over the last four months, about 250 teams, comprising 4,000 employees of the company, had participated in the preliminary matches. "Events like these will help in strengthening team work, bonding and camaraderie," Mr Shankar Srinivasan, Vice-President and Head (Hyderabad Operations) of the company said. The Chennai team scored 161 runs in 20 overs. Hyderabad scored 156 in 20 overs.
