Floating comfort

The recently built houseboat by the Kerala Shipping and Inland Navigation Corporation (KSINC) for the Karnataka Tourism Department cruising on its way to its new destination. KSINC has launched its first houseboat, constructed for Jungle Lodges and Resorts Ltd owned by the Karnataka Tourism Department.

The boat, constructed in four months at a cost of Rs 40 lakh, is 18.59 metres long and 4.5 metres wide and is provided with two air-conditioned rooms and a modern kitchen on board.
