Karnataka Bank's `no frills' accounts

MANGALORE: Karnataka Bank has introduced `S.B. Sugama'as part of the `no frills account' initiative.

The bank has prescribed different minimum balance for different categories of branches. Under `S.B. Sugama', the minimum balance is Rs 50 for rural branches, Rs 100 for semi-urban branches, Rs 150 for urban branches and Rs 200 for metro branches.
