Limited period rate hike offer

STATE Bank of Mysore has revised its interest rates for the term deposits with a maximum increase of 50 basis points and a minimum of 25 basis points. The limited period offer would be in force till January 31. The new rates came into effect from December 19.

According to a bank release, deposits with a tenure of 180 days and less than one year would earn a higher interest rate of 5.75 per cent against the current rate of 5.25 per cent. The rates for other tenures of less than two and three years have been fixed at 5.85 per cent and 6.10 per cent respectively.

Deposits above three and five years would carry interest rates of 6.25 per cent and 6.5 per cent respectively.
