Rubber farmers

The achievement in the rubber sector is solely the effort of the farmer and any attempt to belittle the same is unfortunate. The crisis in the sector was not predicted by the farmer as a result of which they were caught unawares.

Research organisations in every field should be able to foresee such difficulties and send out appropriate warnings to farmers.

But this is not to belittle the help extended by the field staff of the rubber board in the development of this sector which farmers are appreciative of.
