Taking advantage of the changes brought about to make Charminar a pollution free zone, the fruit vendors and auto drivers have taken over the main road around Mecca Mazjid and Charminar. Pushcarts and auto-rickshaws are now blocking the area around the monument, resulting in traffic jams.
