CMC unit assessed at Level 5

NEW DELHI: CMC Ltd announced on Thursday that its Systems Integration Business Unit of the northern region has been assessed at SEI-CMM Level 5, the highest level of Capability Maturity Model (CMM) of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at Carnegie Mellon University.

"The assessment scope included the locations of Delhi, Lucknow, Bhopal, Indore and Raipur. Having achieved this milestone, all CMC's regional software operations in the country have achieved CMM certifications with the western, southern and northern region assessed at SEI-CMM Level 5 and the eastern region assessed at SEI-CMM Level 4," a CMC statement said here.
