Consulting Ma Foi opens new unit in Kochi Our Bureau
Kochi , Dec. 23 THE migration of business processes from the developed countries to the developing world and the emergence of flexi-staffing have helped to create a new market value for Indian employees, Mr Pandia Rajan, Managing Director of Ma Foi Management Consultants, has said. Several companies have begun to outsource business contracts and flexi-staffing has become the order of the day. Re-launching Ma Foi's business partnership in Kochi, Mr Rajan said that on an average, companies are found to employ three staff on contract for every permanent employee, giving greater room for flexi-employment. Inaugurating Ma Foi's new unit in Kochi, Mr C.J. George, Managing Director of Geojit Financial Services Ltd, said the Indian economy is itself in major transition with the services sector contribution to GDP growing from around 33 to 55 per cent during the last two decades. This has created a major churn in the employment market with the focus shifting from educated unemployment to unemployable people, Mr George said.
