NCC camp in Kottayam

KOTTAYAM: Fifth Kerala NCC Battalion under the auspices of Kottayam NCC group organised a national integration camp at SB College, Changanasserry.

Mr C.F. Thomas, Minister for Rural Development, inaugurated the camp on Friday.

The NCC Director-General, Brig O.A James, presided. Besides, officials and senior Army officers, about 1,000 NCC cadets from different States participated in the camp.

The cadets hailing from various States would get an opportunity to study the cultural and social life of Kerala during their stay in the State. The camp would conclude after 12 days. A rally was held to highlight the need for communal harmony and peace.
