Lenovo eyes non-metros

Our Correspondent

Madurai , Dec. 25

LENOVO (India) Pvt Ltd is eyeing the non-metro segment to increase PC penetration. "Organised retailing in the country is expected to jump to a substantial Rs 18,000 crore this year and this is the right time to enter these previously untapped markets," said Mr Shantanu Varma, General Manager-Non-Metro Business, Lenovo (India).

Mr Varma was recently in the city to discuss the market strategy with channel partner Aparajitha of the TVS group and the dealers here.

Last month, the company introduced ThinkPad Z60, which is designed for mobile and small business users.
