Human Resources Apollo teams up with US body to offer course for medical technicians Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Dec. 25 APOLLO Hospitals joined hands with Stanford Emergency Medicine International, US, to launch the International Training Program for Emergency Medical Technicians here. "Emergency Medicine, particularly pre-hospital emergency care, is rapidly growing in the country and the need for trained and qualified personnel is immense," Dr Hariprasad, Chief Executive Officer of Apollo Hospitals, said here in a press release. Only structured training programmes would generate quality human resources that could, in turn, offer quality emergency medical systems. "Candidates enrolling and successfully completing this programme will have good career opportunities," he said. Candidates who have passed Intermediate or equivalent are eligible to enrol for this one-year full-time programme. The first batch would commence from January 10. Stanford Emergency Medicine International and Apollo Hospitals would certify the candidates passing the examination, the release said.
