Sonu Nigam to endorse Dabur cough drops

DABUR India Ltd has signed on singer Sonu Nigam to endorse its cough drops, branded `Honitus'.

The company has carved out a new storyline to include the singer, as a part of its marketing campaign. The singer has been signed on for a period of three years, a company spokesperson said.

Priced at Re 1 a tablet, the approach for the new campaign revolves around the superior taste and relief attributes of Honitus cough drops, a company statement said.

"Our foray into the Rs 130-crore lozenges segment has redefined the category," a company official said.

"We are confident that the new communication campaign will boost brand growth," the official added.
