HP launches Pavilion notebook

HEWLETT Packard India on Wednesday launched HP Pavilion notebooks in India.

According to the recent IDC results, HP leads the notebook segment in India with a whopping 42 per cent market share and through the newly launched Pavilion brand it hopes to further expand the market by 10 per cent in the high-end consumer segment.

"The Pavilion DV1300 series has features such as Quick Play which allows the user to play music and DVD without standard Windows bootup, a handy remote control which can be embedded in the laptop, and keyboard buttons with neon backlight," said Mr Rajiev Grover, Country category manager, Consumer Portables, HP India.

The range is priced upwards from Rs 45,000and will be available across all HP Experience Zones in the country.
