HYDERABAD: Satyam Computer Services Ltd has been awarded the ICWAI National Award for Excellence in Cost Management for 2005 under the services category.

The Chief Financial Officer of Satyam, Mr V. Srinivas, said "given that manpower related costs form a major portion of expenditure, our endeavour has been to constantly improve productivity as well as search for innovative ways to trim overheads to sustain margins.
