Opinion - Cigarettes

No music for ex-smokers

The anti-smoking lobby could soon protest holding of concerts in the country. Why? Because in the run-up to the Master-Conductor Zubin Mehta-led Bavarian State Orchestra's performance in Delhi and Chennai, German officials at the Max Mueller Bhavan (the main organisers of the show) were so harried spending sleepless nights dealing with logistics and infrastructure nightmare in the two cities that one went back to smoking after having laid off for many years. Or, maybe, ex-smokers should be kept away from organising such events.
