Naukri.com-CNBC TV18 to launch reality show offering jobs

INSTEAD of cash or goodies, this live TV show promises to give out jobs. Job portal Naukri.com and TV18 will present the first Job Show to be aired on TV starting February.

Aviva Life Insurance, Flextronics Software System, Impetus Technologies, DNA, YES Bank, Denstu are some of the companies which will offer jobs on the show.

The show has been launched to offer job-hunters a chance to win their dream placements while being watched by millions across the country.

It is planned as a 26-episode show and will be beamed every Saturday with a repeat on Sunday afternoon.

Mr Ajay Chako, National Marketing Head of CNBC TV18, said: "The show would be presented in a reality format. It would help young viewers to focus on the strengths of successful candidates and apply these learnings in real life situations when faced with the prospect of job interviews."
