Highway Garden upgrades hotel

KOCHI: Highway Garden Drive In (Pvt) Ltd, which has been in the hotel industry for the last two decades in Kochi, has upgraded the hotel into a 3-star category to cater to the emerging market of the tourism industry in the State.

The Group has invested around Rs 3 crore for the renovation of the hotel situated at Palarivattom in the Vyttila-Edappally stretch of NH-47. The State Minister for Fisheries and Sports, Mr Dominic Presentation, inaugurated the hotel on Thursday.

The Group also plans to start a business hotel in Thiruvananthapuram within a year. As part of developing a tourism circuit, it has also proposed to open resorts at Wayanad, Thekkadi, Kumarakom and Alappuzha within a short span, the promoters of the hotel said.
