New Products & Services Haier launches wine cellars Our Bureau
New Delhi , Jan. 6 THE Chinese home appliances major, Haier, has introduced its range of wine cellars in the domestic market. Currently the wine cellars are available in two models in India, one with a capacity of 20 bottles and the other with a capacity of 30 bottles. Priced at Rs 17,990 and Rs 21,990 respectively, the cellars would be displayed in the forthcoming Indian International Food and Wine Show. The Show would be held in the Capital from January 19 to 21 and is expecting participation from about 12 countries including wine and food manufacturers from France, Italy, South Africa and Ireland. The event is considered as a platform for bringing together foreign food, wine, alcoholic and other non-alcoholic beverages. Mr T.K. Banerjee, President and CEO of Haier India felt that Haier's range of "quality innovative products has got an overwhelming response across India." The company's Director, Mr Pranay Dhabhai said, "The launch of our range of wine cellars marks a step forward in our endeavour to bring to our customers our technology." The wine cellars would be imported from China. Haier India, a 100 per cent subsidiary of the Haier Group, currently has 15 showrooms across the country that showcase its products. It plans to add another five in the coming months.
