Software Industry & Economy - Health Satyam deploys Oracle tech for telemedicine project Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Jan.6 SATYAM Computer Services Ltd and Oracle India have empowered the Byrraju Foundation with a technology solution that helps reach out telemedicine to about 150 villages. By deploying Oracle application, Satyam has ensured that the system will comply with the industry required HL7 compliance (Health Level 7), an industry standard for the exchange of clinical data in the hospital environment. With this, the Byrraju Foundation is set to bring telemedicine to150 villages, and, of this, services will be inaugurated for 10 villages, which now have a last mile robust connectivity. Over the next three months, the service will be rolled out to all the 150 villages. Satyam announced its readiness to deploy its Web-enabled healthcare platform built on the Oracle's Healthcare Transaction Base (Oracle-HTB).
