Pact with UAE exchange houses

MUMBAI: Syndicate Bank has tied up with Federal Exchange, Dubai, and Alfalah Exchange, Abu Dhabi, for providing remittance services.

At present, the bank offers speed transfer facilities at 351 branches and would soon extend it to 150 more, a press release from the bank said.

With these two tie-ups, the bank has established relationships with 11 exchange houses in the Gulf region.

The bank would soon sign agreements with National Exchange, Kuwait, and Zenz Exchange Company, Bahrain, Mr N. Kantha Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director, Syndicate Bank, has said.

The bank is likely to announce a new remittance product powered by Real Time Gross Settlement, he said.
