FoodWorld stores in Chennai have now been renamed as Spencer's Daily. With Dairy Farm and the RPG group parting ways in FoodWorld Supermarkets Ltd, the FoodWorld brand has been retained by the former.

The RPG group has taken over 49 of the 93 FoodWorld stores under the terms of the agreement and has rechristened them under the Spencer's brand. The group plans four formats under Spencer's: Fresh, Daily, Super and Spencer's Hyper. In the picture is the Adyar branch of Spencer's Daily.
