MUMBAI: A group of medical representatives and sales promotion representatives held a protest in front of drug company Nicholas Piramal India Ltd's corporate office in Mumbai on Monday.

The protest was against the company's ongoing policy to "de-unionise," said Mr K.D. Kadam of the Federation of Medical and Sales Representatives Association of India (FMRAI). The day-long protest was also to get drug companies like NPIL to re-open their channels of bi-lateral communication, he said.

Company officials were not available for comment.
