Promotions & Offers Info-Tech - Telecommunications Reliance Info extends free tariff plan to fixed wireless users Our Bureau
Mumbai , Jan. 9 RELIANCE Infocomm has extended its One India and lifetime-incoming-free tariff plans to its fixed wireless customers too. On January 1, the company had introduced its One India plan for its mobile customers. Under the One India tariff plan, fixed wireless customers of the company will be able to make calls to any phone anywhere in India at Re 1 a minute. Local calls will also cost Re 1 a minute whereas currently local calls cost Rs 1.20 for three minutes. This tariff plan comes for a monthly rental of Rs 499. Under the lifetime incoming scheme, fixed wireless customers get their instrument as well as a lifetime of free incoming calls for a one-time payment of Rs 2,999. The tariffs under this would be Rs 1.20 per pulse of local calls the pulse being 3 minutes to local fixed phones and Reliance phones, 45 seconds for customers in non-metro cities and 60 seconds for customers in metro cities. For STD, the plan recognises a pulse of 30 seconds to anywhere in the country. Reliance Infocomm has around 25 lakh fixed wireless customers.
