Record potash discharge at Vizag port

Visakhapatnam , Jan. 10

A RECORD quantity of 14,587 tonnes of muriate of potash in bulk was discharged in 24 hours on Monday from the vessel — MV Nemtas — berthed at EQ 7 in Visakhapatnam port, surpassing all previous records. The stevedores, V. Dhana Reddy and Co, thanked the port officials and the dock labour board for the achievement.
