Deere opens tech centre

Pune , Jan. 11

DEERE & Company inaugurated on Wednesday the John Deere Technology Centre here. The centre will provide services in information technology, engineering, supply chain management, embedded systems and technical authoring for its global operations.

Mr Nate Jones, Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, said that the centre would provide engineering services with a focus on design, analysis, 3D modelling, finite element analysis,and computational fluid dynamics. Mr Jones added that approximately 200 people are employed at the centre.
