HYDERABAD: Godavari Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd (GFCL), part of the Murugappa group, has achieved in the third quarter net sales of Rs 385.72 crore (Rs 336.32 crore), other income of Rs 1.38 crore (Rs 1.37 crore) and a net profit of Rs 2.68 crore (Rs 4.6 crore), yielding an EPS of Rs 0.84 (Rs 1.44) on an equity of Rs 32 crore.

For the nine months period, net sales stood at Rs 1,112.79 crore (Rs 942.35 crore), other income at Rs 3.9 crore (Rs 2.76 crore) and the net profit at Rs 15.02 crore (Rs 5.77 crore), yielding an EPS of Rs 4.69 (Rs 1.80).

The board has appointed Mr K.A. Nair as the Managing Director with effect from Tuesday. He was hitherto the GFCL President and whole-time director, a company release said.
