Software Intransa's IP SAN lab Our Bureau
BANGALORE: California-based storage solutions provider Intransa has set up an IP SAN (Storage Area Network) lab at an engineering college in the city. The lab is equipped with two units of Intransa IP-3000, each having a 2-terabyte storage capacity. Training will be provided to the academic staff at New Horizon College. It will give students first-hand experience of software components in an IP SAN storage box and key features such as RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks), snapshot, replication, system logs, back-up and data protection. The curriculum for students and sessions for Intransa's customers will familiarise them with IP SAN Technology and company's product portfolio.
