BAL, Copa Cabana pick up stake in Bajaj Auto Fin

BAJAJ Auto Ltd and Copa Cabana have informed the NSE that they have acquired equity shares of Bajaj Auto Finance Ltd.

Bajaj Auto Ltd has informed the stock exchanges that Bajaj Auto Ltd (& Bajaj Auto Holdings Ltd) has acquired 10,03,260 shares aggregating to 4.78 per cent (percentage to paid-up capital after preferential issue) of the total paid-up capital of Bajaj Auto Finance Ltd on January 17.

The mode of acquisition is preferential allotment and the shareholding of Bajaj Auto Ltd (& Bajaj Auto Holdings Ltd) after the acquisition is 87,13,960 shares or 41.50 per cent of the total paid-up capital of Bajaj Auto Finance Ltd.

It also said Copa Cabana has acquired 1,035,000 equity shares aggregating to 4.92% of the total paid-up capital of Bajaj Auto Finance Ltd on January 18.

The mode of acquisition is preferential allotment and the shareholding of Copa Cabana after the acquisition is 5.49 per cent of the total paid up capital of Bajaj Auto Finance Ltd.
