NEW DELHI: Mr Peter Mukherjee, Chief Executive Officer, Star TV, Mr A.K. Shukla, Chairman, LIC, and Mr Ravi Uppal, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, ABB India, have been awarded the 2006 Institute of Marketing and Management Awards for marketing.

Mr Gupta, Executive Director, Candico (I) Ltd, has been given the Top Young Entrepreneur Award while Mr Sharad Agarwal, Executive Director, Surya Roshni, got the Marketing Man of the Year Award by the institute.

The awards were presented at the 33rd World Marketing Congress on `The South Asian market: Its challenges and opportunities', organised by the institute.
