Vedanta Resources launches $725-m convertible bonds

Mumbai , Jan. 23

VEDANTA Resources on Monday announced the launch of $725 million convertible bonds due 2026.

Barclays Bank PLC has been granted an option to increase the issue size by an additional $125 million.

The bonds will be issued by Vedanta Finance (Jersey) Ltd and guaranteed by Vedanta.

The proceeds of the issue will be used towards refinancing subsidiary indebtedness.
